This year’s holiday celebrations were like none other. Even Santa wore a face mask in conformance with Covid-19 health guidelines. Social distancing included plexiglass separators, keeping the children and staff protected and safe. And for children unable to attend school the day of the festivities, Santa visited them in their homes via Zoom. Dominick Davi did a great job in his role as Santa.
The Davi family has had a long-term commitment to the AHRC school system. Even a pandemic could not keep the family from their annual charitable contributions to the happiness of the children. Their donations are made in honor and memory of Rose D’Angio, sister of one of the school’s ministers. Mrs. D’Angio raised Dominick and his brother Frank as children, and remained a generous and warm family friend throughout her life.
Dominick Davi reflects on his participation in this annual tradition, “It give me an immense amount of happiness to not only give a present but to give a child a smile, happiness, and amazement. It is a very special blessing I receive every year.”
Greenway Products & Services, LLC doesn’t just answer the call at holiday time. The Mid-Atlantic pallet manufacturer serves the community all year long and is proud to be an active part of giving back.
